We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our Delavan cultivation center as Security Guard. Our cannabis cultivation facility is on the hunt for a Security Superstar to watch over our precious plants during the wee hours. Essential Functions:

• Interior foot patrols
• Exterior patrols on foot and/or in a vehicle
• Monitoring Video Surveillance System for suspicious/illegal/non-compliant activity and for various operation functions as determined
• Monitoring the Engineered Access Control system and following protocol for access to the facility and controlled areas within the facility.
• Maintaining visitor and employee logs
• Deliveries to permitted dispensaries
• Report writing post event, for operational information, and departmental documentation
• Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency personnel
• Administer CPR and First Aid measures until local EMS arrives if needed
• Weather monitoring and emergency response
• Monitoring and reporting violations of overall safety and security procedures throughout the assigned facility

Qualifications:

• Minimum age requirement 21
• High School diploma or GED required, some college education preferred
• Ability to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check including criminal history check by the State Police and FBI
• Ability to obtain a Cultivation Registration Identification Card from the IL Department of Agriculture
• Current Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and a good driving record
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and carry up to 25 pounds
• Ability to fluently read and write the English language
• Basic computer skills including the use of Microsoft\xe2\x80\x99s Office Suite
• Great attitude and ability to follow direction

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $17.00 per hour with a $3 increase while on third shift
