We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, high-judgment, results-oriented, Seller Relations & Vetting Representative for a dynamic new role that will work hand-in-hand with selling partners and internal teams on initiatives that ensures public perception mirrors the reality that Amazon\'s stores are a great place to build and grow thriving businesses.
In this role you will use your selling knowledge, problem solving, organization, and communication skills to support our external selling partners and many internal partner teams across Amazon like Public Policy, Public Relations, Advertising, and Creative. You will play a vital role in finding and vetting sellers that will be featured in activation events ranging from speaking on the Accelerate main stage to being featured during Prime Day. You will build trust with selling partners by listening to their stories, learning about their business, and providing support on multiple fronts including Seller Central escalations. You will also be integral to supporting the team\'s tracking and reporting of seller activities to ensure a positive seller experience.
Because this role involves significant coordination with internal partner teams and external selling partners, the ideal candidate has excellent communication skills, attention to detail, thinks strategically, and takes initiative. They drive strategic initiatives but also roll up their sleeves, dig in and get the job done. Maturity, strong business judgment, ability to earn trust and influence cross-functional teams, a customer-centric and creative mindset and strong analytical and writing skills are essential. The candidate for this position also embraces ambiguity, ramps quickly on complex issues, and is skilled at communicating complex issues simply and convincingly to a wide range of internal and external audiences.
Key job responsibilities
Partner closely with the SER Program and Product team, PP, PR, Marketing, Legal and other teams to align on priorities, report and share results, insights, and learnings.
Understand stakeholder requirements, goals, and motivations, and prioritize these as needed to find and vet sellers to meet team goals.
Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management.
Working across internal teams to coordinate activation initiatives while supporting sellers.
Advocates for sellers internally and externally.
Supports, optimizes, and helps drive adoption of critical mechanisms required to ensure long-term expansion and success.
Tracks and reports program learnings and effectiveness to internal stakeholders.
A day in the life
Sourcing seller contact information and contacting existing vetted sellers to ensure that they maintain active status and conducting initial get-to-know-you outreach calls with sellers.
Own communications with partner teams regarding SIM status, prioritization, and expected completion date (Earn Trust through expectation setting).
Reviewing and vetting sellers, including analyzing selling partner trends and data, and gathering and tracking seller engagement history.
Providing escalation support for sellers and working with internal teams to understand and support upcoming events, including gathering requirements from multiple internal stakeholders.
Maintaining/updating team activity tracking mechanisms and seller lists.
About the team
The Seller External Relations (SER) team ensures that Amazon is viewed globally by external audiences as a valuable, accessible, partner who respects and celebrates the success of its sellers. We create content and tools that demonstrate and celebrate the positive experiences of sellers on Amazon to other sellers, the general public, and influentials (e.g., media and policymakers) with the goal of improving their perception of the experience and benefits of selling in our store.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of customer success experience.
- 2+ years of working with Selling Partners.
- Experience in Seller Central and/or Vendor Central.
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Attention to detail, excellent organization skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities.
- Strong analytic approach and bias for action using data-based judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to adoption process and workflows and to help improve operational efficiency.
- Experience establishing, growing, and maintaining relationships.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters of Business Administration or Advanced Technical Degree.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills - decisive, action-oriented, and able to motivate and inspire others.
- Experience working within Seller Central Experience leveraging customer insights to drive decisions.

Experience with team activity, goal progress/KPI/productivity metric reporting, and creating associated Flash reports and QBRs.
- Strong track record of leading and delivering programs and services at a national scale.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to operate autonomously, roll up sleeves and execute to get the job done; general manager / owner mentality.
- Travels as necessary to ensure programmatic excellence.
- Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and gaining alignment on program vision.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $52,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $112,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
