Future\'s B2B division is growing, and is seeking an Advertising Account Director to become the market development leader for the SmartBrief Food & Beverage Group focused on developing business from agencies and clients supplying products and services to the consumer goods, food processing, foodservice, grocery and health & nutrition business segments. What you\'ll be doing...

The Account Director is responsible for managing and developing a sales territory and working all phases of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing to renewing and growing accounts. Successful candidates will have a strong desire to learn, have account management skills, and knowledge of some of the diverse portfolio of advertising and marketing solutions SmartBrief offers including digital advertising, content marketing, social media targeting and lead gen. Your role will consist of;

• Developing and closing new ad company leads based on a focused brand approach provided by the the Industry VP and Group Publisher.
• Scheduling and leading presentations and business meetings with company decision-makers & advertising agencies for assigned accounts.
• Identifying and connecting with potential clients and leads.
• Communicating the value of SmartBrief by walking through detailed presentations.
• Executing on a strategic plan to achieve revenue goals.
• Hitting monthly and quarterly revenue targets.

Experience that will put you ahead of the curve...

• 3+ years of related work experience ideally in the media industry with client facing experience.
• Knowledge of online & print advertising terms, sales process, and sales flow.
• Solid experience in MS Office/Google Docs including spreadsheets and pitch decks/presentations.
• Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, along with an ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, think creatively to solve problems, and work effectively in a fast-paced media/technology business
• Ability to forge relationships with clients, understand their objectives and recommend the best strategies.
• Effective time management skills \xe2\x80\x93 ability to prioritize and meet deadlines while working independently.

Please note, the salary range for this position is $62,000 - $85,000XX
