job summary:
Tatum is assisting a stable and growing organization within the logistics space in the beautiful area of Ponte Vedra, FL! This is an outstanding and exciting opportunity for an experienced accountant that will assist the Controller and Accounting Manager in the financial closing process and support preparation of group financials, forecasts, and budgets. This position does require the candidate to be local to the area as the role will be on-site for a few months before moving to a hybrid schedule while training is involved.

responsibilities:
- Manage closing process and report financials to parent company on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.

- Help with treasury functions and be the backup to the Controller.

- Prepare financial statements and reporting packages for the company and

subsidiaries/affiliates.

- Prepare G&A allocations and intercompany settlements. Support payroll for entire company.

- Prepare investment reports.

- Assist with forecasts and budgets.

- Serve as super user of the accounting system alongside the Financial Systems Manager.

- Develop/support accounting system reports for internal and external users.

- Manage bank and intercompany loan installment payments.

qualifications:
- 2-3 years\' experience in accounting

- BS in Accounting or Finance required, CPA/MBA preferred.

- Tech savvy: advanced skill in MS Excel required.
