The successful candidate will be located in Georgia, Florida or South Carolina. This position is mostly remote, but will require monthly visits to our Savannah office.

The Senior Analyst, Investor Reporting is responsible for preparing and interpreting financial data for senior leadership, including department leaders, C-Suite executives, and the Board of Directors. The Senior Analyst, Investor Reporting is also responsible for preparing analysis used to update external stakeholders on progress against company targets and goals. The Senior Analyst, Investor Reporting takes a lead role in budget and forecast preparation along with analysis of actual results and partners with the various stakeholders to provide insight and support.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to gain deep knowledge of the telecom business, as well as gain exposure to and insight from leadership. The successful candidate will have an analytical mindset, and is comfortable collaborating with internal customers, and working closely with leaders.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Supports quarterly organization-wide forecasting process:

  • Ensuring forecast aligns with overall company strategic objectives and business conditions
  • Validating data inputs and calculations to ensure integrity of forecast
  • Developing, producing, and presenting appropriate quarterly reports and presentation materials for executive review, including annual Board documents and interim Board updates
  • Supporting forecast data distribution to other stakeholders
2. Participates in financial review meetings before, during, and after each reporting cycle
  • Interacts with all stakeholders to support 360 communication of key drivers and outputs of forecast cycle and related ad hoc analytics
  • Validating variances against forecast assumptions, producing forecast updates, scorecards, and business triggers metrics for executive review
  • Reviews statistical forecast controls
  • Delivers analytics on notable variances, with easy to understand and actionable communication
3. Develops long-range strategic planning model
  • Extensive Excel modeling experience required
  • Managing plan compilation, review, and validation
  • Documentation of assumptions
  • Participates in review with executives
4. Provides support for business decision making
  • Builds business case models
  • Builds, reviews and analyzes business plans for expansions, new market launches, and other capital investment activities.
  • Support sales organization in deal evaluations and structures for maximum profitability
  • Gathers and validates data for revenue, expenses, capital, and operating statistics for cities in assigned region to support bottoms-up strategic planning process.
  • Reviews and analyzes monthly financial statements for each city, including forecast variances, trends, and normalized activity levels.
Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 5+ years of related experience in financial analysis or experience in an finance or related role
  • Telecom industry experience highly desirable, but not required
  • Adaptability and flexibility. Able to support and handle change
  • Advanced experience in cost analysis and comparison across multiple time intervals
  • Working knowledge of a how to build an Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement
  • Proven knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting, strategic planning, and interpretation of financial data
  • Highly proficient Microsoft Excel skills, including development and use of financial models, pivot tables, graphs, macros, and complex formulas
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating excellent time management
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written, and to build trust across the entire organization
  • Critical thinker and creative in your approach to problem solving with the ability to identify process improvement opportunities
  • Should be located in SE - Florida, Georgia, or South Carolina and able to travel to Savannah
