As an AWS Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering new AWS projects for our customers. The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented self-starter with independent problem-solving skills, who exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills along with demonstrated leadership ability.We are currently in the process of extending our IT Infrastructure capabilities to the public cloud. If you are an agile learner, have hands-on experience architecting and implementing secure, reliable & resilient hybrid-cloud solutions and able to function as part of a highly technical, cross functional team, we would like to hear from you. We are currently seeking a dedicated individual to join our team at our Sioux Falls, South Dakota location. This role is primarily on-site, allowing for the full collaboration with our customer and team. We are open to discussing some consideration for remote work as part of our employment package.Three years of continuous residency in the US for issuance of a Government Security credentialRESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead in the evaluation, implementation, and deployment of processes & capabilities to advance hybrid-cloud strategy for KBRxe2x80x99s customers
• Work with solution architects and larger design teams to deliver full hybrid-cloud solutions in a FedRAMP high environment
• Develop and maintain systems management tools to manage hybrid-cloud infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, auditing, de-provisioning using Python, Ansible and other tools
• Work closely with the Architects and Engineers to design networks, systems, and storage environment that effectively reflect business needs, security requirements, and service level requirements for KBRxe2x80x99s customers
• Manage a continuous integration/continuous deployment methodology for Infrastructure technologies using industry standards such as Jenkins and GitLab Runners
• Work with engineering and architecture teams to design and implement scalable software services
• Lead and participate in a cross functional team environment to provide troubleshooting and support around core business applications
• Ability to work with multiple projects simultaneously
• Develop strategic roadmaps and project implementation plans based on customer requirements
• Ability to identify cost savings, security gaps, and best practices across a variety of AWS services and compliances in FedRAMP high environment
• Ability to identifying and solve complex issues for our customers and present recommendations to senior leadership
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and juggle multiple tasks at once
• Mentor and lead junior engineers

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• AWS Professional Certification
• The ideal candidate should be a detail-oriented self-starter with independent problem-solving skills, who exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills
• 3-year US Residency required (see special requirements below)
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field
• 10+ years of experience as a Cloud Software Developer/Engineer, Systems Administrator, Network Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Security Engineer, or equivalent cloud experience
• 5+ years of DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines, containers, and automation
• 4+ years in a customer facing role
• 4+ years of experience implementing and administering cloud
• Strong understanding of AWS Security and Network controls
• Strong experience with Terraform, CDK, or other IaC tool
• Experience with Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or other configuration management tool
• Experience with one or more scripting languages like Python, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell
• General understanding of compliance around FedRAMP
• Strong technical documentation skills
• Proven ability to work across teams
• Excellent verbal and written communication and influencing skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex priorities in a dynamic environment
• The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong aptitude to learn and passion for problem solving

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Experience with agile techniques and methods
• Familiarity with modern Software Engineering principles
• Experience engineering and deploying public sector solutions
• Expert experience with AWS services in following list: S3, CloudFront, EKS, Lambda, Aurora Serverless DB, AWS Batch

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Three years of continuous residency in the US for issuance of a Government Security credential
• The candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a national agency check and background investigation after hire to obtain a badge for government facility access and user accounts.
