Senior Starbucks BaristaStatus: Full-time, 40 hours weekly.Days worked: Monday to Sunday. Every other weekend required.Shifts: Works 8.5 hours between 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.Location: Butterworth Hospital, 100 Michigan St. Grand Rapids MI.Starting at $16.94 per hourJob SummaryResponsible for production of a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from a complex combination of ingredients, according to standardized recipes. Work in a fast-paced, high volume work environment. Use of specialized kitchen equipment. Able to identify ingredients/finished products that do not meet established quality standards. Maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area. Create an excellent experience for the customer.Maintains shift accountability for the provision of Nutrition Services in a cost effective/efficient manner. Monitors the delivery of high-quality food and nutritional services to Corewell Health patients, employees and visitors. May make decisions of a non-routine nature to provide solutions for persistent departmental concerns.Essential Functions

• Production of a wide variety of intricate beverage recipes from a complex combination of ingredients, according to standardized recipes.
• Able to learn and retain beverage ingredients, measurements, and recipes.
• Effectively work well in a fast-paced, high volume work environment.
• Able to multitask to perform a variety of duties/roles within the operation including recipe production, cash handling, stocking, and sanitation responsibilities.
• Able to operate and clean specialized kitchen equipment, troubleshoot equipment issues and resolve or refer to leadership.
• Able to identify ingredients/finished products that do not meet established quality standards and correct issues immediately. Maintain safety and sanitation standards of the work area.
• Responsible for preparation for semi-annual health department and external regulatory inspections.
• Create personalized experiences for the customers while demonstrating knowledge of products and accuracy in fulfilling highly specific customer requests.
• Perform effective service recovery if the products do not meet the customer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations.

QualificationsRequired

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of relevant food service of experience, preferably in health care setting or related field
• CRT-ServSafe Manager - NRA National Restaurant Association 90 days
• CRT-ServSafe Allergen - NRA National Restaurant Association 90 days

Preferred

• 6 months of relevant leadership experience
• Associate\'s Degree Hospitality or Nutrition
