The Senior Business Analyst reports to the North Regional IT Director, and is located in Mansfield, MA.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Lawson M3 Business Analyst is a key role that is responsible for projects, new enhancements, and end-to-end support for TriMark\xe2\x80\x99s enterprise ERP system; Lawson M3 and other mission critical 3rd party software integrations. The Business Analyst will partner with key stakeholders across the division to provide a list of options that would increase efficiency, reduce bottlenecks, and improve transparency. The Business Analyst will also be expected to project manage initiatives and projects and be the liaison between business and IT and provide systematic and analytical reviews to leadership

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Primary IT point of contact working with business partners to assess requirements and identify best fit solutions that will deliver expected results, including enhancement assessment, execution, and business integration.
• Provide daily maintenance support in conjunction with external ERP vendor for the relevant functional/technical area within the Lawson M3 landscape by recording/providing status on requests, prioritizing tasks or working with management to clarify prioritization, executing maintenance activities, coordinating testing of maintenance activities, and coordinating the application of maintenance activities to the production environment
• Elicit business requirements, while advising on best practices, resulting in transactional data mapping designs and customer specifications.
• Perform as liaison between Business functional teams, IT Application Support, IT Development and Corporate teams on system issues, enhancements, and projects.
• Analyze/Triage ERP related Incident Tickets and performs root cause analysis to identify and prevent reoccurring problems
• Assist in project planning and project scope sessions to ensure compliance with the project charter, implementation plan, and client agreements
• Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously at various phases of projects. i.e. Requirements Gathering, Documentation, Presentations, Testing and Project Lead
• Acts as the primary contact point for IT engagement and escalations for ERP support needs, and enhancement requests.
• Develop detailed documentation for system enhancements and business cases assisting enhancement requests.
• Prepare and produce user documentation for applications standard work and user training.
• Provide ad hoc training on system functionality as requested by business owners.
• Interact with external IT partners and consultants on issues and requests requiring technical assistance.
• Assist in coordination of ERP change and enhancement testing and release processes.
• Partner with Enterprise Application and Infrastructure leadership in defining, maintaining, and publishing future state system roadmaps.

COMPETENCIES:

• Deep knowledge and experience of Lawson M3 Enterprise Solutions.
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems.
• High degree of knowledge with Business Analysis competencies (requirements elicitation and management, business process mapping, data flow modeling, functional specifications, and test scenarios).
• Strong knowledge of various business functional area within the Distribution Business.
• Strong analytical and product management skills required, including demonstrated experience interpreting customer business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, subject matter experts and business users. As well as internal and external developers and technical services team.
• Skilled at working across diverse constituencies, delivering project tasks in a timely manner and driving issues to conclusion. Solving problems through process AND technology change is key.
• Adept at anticipating changes and adjusting priorities.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding, and fluid environment.
• Mentoring and coaching skills.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum of 7+ years working as a business analyst / implementation consultant with Lawson M3, preferably in the warehouse/distribution industry.
• Deep, hands-on experience working in a project-oriented environment with a preference for distribution experience in the food services or related distribution industry.
• Experience executing the functional components of IT solutions via a structured methodology.
• Experience with business analysis, quality assurance, and resource management methodologies and best practices.
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Computer Science and/or Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
• This position is in based out of Mansfield, MA; with opportunity to be Hybrid.
