Job Description
Our client is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to join their team. As a Senior Design Engineer, you will be part of the Ride on Tractor group.
Job Title: Senior Design Engineer
Location: Pella, IA 50219
Pay Range: $93k-$145k + Bonus eligibility
Need to be Onsite
Ability to Pay Relocation
US Citizen or Green Card Holder only
Responsibilities:
- Lead design efforts including, but not limited to: calculating unknown loading and directions, reviewing existing digital models and provide guidance for creation or modification to use as a basis for Finite Element Analysis (FEA). Develop bill of materials for purchased items, machining, weld and assembly prints using SolidWorks software for manufacturability, cost effectiveness and safety.
- Instruct other users on SolidWorks, PDMWorks, ECN tools and best practices.
- Analyze production or service issues and create solutions.
- Must be able to be onsite daily
- Bachelors Degree in an Engineering realm
- 8+ years of design experience
- Heavy machinery background required
