We partner closely with product managers, researchers, designers, data scientists, and engineers to lead ZxD\xe2\x80\x99s work from discovery, into initial concept and strategy, through the execution of design and then market releases.About the roleAs a Senior Design Program Manager at Zillow, you will lead the planning, implementation, and success tracking of a variety of operational programs across ZxD. This position requires you to excel at design systems thinking, improving processes and frameworks now while considering how they will scale in the future. Collaboration is at the heart of how we work in ZxD, and because you will work closely with designers, design leadership, and partner teams on all projects, strong communication skills are essential. In this role, you\'ll need to prioritize deadlines, stay organized, pay attention to the details, and switch between different creative and operational tasks.Your focus on improving team communication, collaboration, and removing roadblocks for the team will mean that the product designers can focus their time on designing, building and shipping products. This job gives you the chance to:Manage communications programs for ZxD, including All Hands, Newsletters, Ask me Anything sessions and work sharing routinesPartner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design (PEMD) Operations to share best practices and align on opportunities to scale operational programs across PEMDPartner with Design Operations and ZxD leadership to set team goals, roadmaps, and plan team resourcesProvide leadership on training and career growth initiatives within ZxDContribute to internal technical design support requests as neededRegularly make updates to our ZxD websiteConsult on other organization wide initiatives like culture & morale, rhythm of business and our employee surveyCollaborate with partners in communications, HR, analytics, learning & development, design program management, and product and technical program managementSuggest continuous process improvementsThis role has been categorized as a Remote position. \xe2\x80\x9cRemote\xe2\x80\x9d employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $140,900.00 - $225,100.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location.
