Classification

Exempt/Salary

Develops, interprets and implements highly complex financial/accounting concepts and advanced techniques for financial planning and control. Provides expert advisory capability and interpretation on all levels of financial activity. Responsible for various reporting functions and analysis to track the Business Unit\'s performance towards achieving its goals. This position will work cross-functionally to identify risks and opportunities and develop forecast data as well as perform an integral role in the annual budget planning process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business partners across the enterprise to communicate financial results and variances, develop accurate forecasts and plans, understand, project and communicate impacts to business units
  • Understand business partners\' organizational and operational strategies and align the development of financial planning to make informed decisions
  • Oversee all processes to produce monthly financial reports and analyses within established deadlines
  • Build and manage Key Performance Indicators to improve management decision-making and performance
  • Provide ad-hoc support as needed to support both Corporate FP&A, Executive Team and Business Unit requests
  • Present financial results, budgets and forecasts to Executive and Senior leadership
  • Develop, enhance, and maintain data analytics and BI reporting to support business decisions.
  • Evaluate and improve existing Excel models to enhance productivity and automation; create new models as required
  • Perform ah-hoc analyses for various operations, which may involve spreadsheet modeling, basic statistical methodologies and large amounts of data
  • Review, enhance, and maintain the budgeting system
Managerial Responsibility
  • This position does not manage other employees.
Travel/Shift Requirements
  • This position requires minimal travel nationwide
Physical Demands
  • The position requires sitting, standing and possibly some light lifting, less than 20 pounds
Skills and Abilities Required
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Must be able to work on multiple priorities/projects under strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to foster cross-functional relationships
  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills
  • Must have strong attention to detail
Education and Experience Required
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • 5 years of experience in a directly related role
  • Experience working with Finance/Accounting systems, Oracle and Data Warehouses
  • Strong in MS Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Tableau, Python, Hyperion Essbase, PowerQuery, or PowerPivot experience preferred.
