We have partnered with an innovative client, forward thinking company south of Boston with an immediate need for a Senior Finance Manager. This is a great opportunity to work in a diverse role overseeing the accounting & finance functions for an emerging company.

Our client is looking for an analytical, hands on finance professional who can maximize efficiencies and drive financial strategies and performance.

responsibilities:

The Senior Finance Manager will be responsible for Budgeting, Forecasting, and Planning, as well as developing strategies and initiatives to improve processes. The Sr Finance Manager will perform wide ranging financial analysis and management reporting for the company.

Duties include

• Develop and manage the budget and financial forecasting activities for the company.
• Perform complex analyses and projections for both planned and ad hoc purposes
• Responsible for planning and forecasting activities with leadership to achieve business and company goals.
• Review previous years financial performances looking to historical trends, areas of risk and opportunities. Research and report on variances
• Evaluate and improve forecasting and budgeting processes
• Work cross functionally to gather and analyze financial information; interpret data into actionable intel for company leadership
• Create/enhance and implement financial processes to maximize efficiency
• Review and improve accounting systems

qualifications:
The ideal candidate profile includes:

• BS in Accounting/Finance
• 8+ years of relevant finance experience including budgeting, forecasting, planning
• Analytical problem solver
• Strong attention to detail
• Methodical, process driven professional
• US GAAP
• Excellent Communication Skills
