Job Description
Excellent fund accountant opportunity working within a smaller team at a growing investment management firm with 50+ Billion in AUM. This role will be focused on fund accounting.
- Fund Accounting
- Work closely with the investment and operations teams on a daily basis
- Participate in monitoring all investments and analyzing the related performance
- Train and Supervise a team of offshore personnel
- Accounting functions such as: journal entries and reconciliations
- Preparation and review of quarterly financial statements
- Capital calls and distribution processes
- thorough understanding of all concepts within assigned Funds; governing documents
- Interact with Tax team to ensure all tax information is compiled correctly
Leading Investment Management Firm with 50+ Billion AUM|Fantastic team with growth opportunities and hybrid schedule
- 2+ years of experience related to alternative investments
- Self started who takes ownership and accountability of work product
- This individual should lead by example and be able to engage directly with senior members of the team
- Management ability
- ability to multi-task and collaborate effectively
- Strong excel and vba skills
- Background from private industry
- Private Equity experience preferred
- CPA/MST preferred not required
- Must have bachelor\'s degree in Accounting
- Experience with investran or VPM is a plus
- CPA is a plus
