Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production of design deliverables based on discussions with Engineering and/or project team.
• Give input for status of project deliverables with regards to man-hour forecasts, resource needs and schedule.
• Provide status on production of design deliverables in accordance with Primoris workflow and project schedule.
• Reviewing vendor documentation and adjusting design as appropriate to match equipment and materials being supplied.
• Assist with development of construction cost (TIC) estimates.
• Assist with development of engineering and design budgets for proposals.
• Engage in inter-discipline communications such as, squad checks, interference identification, equipment layout and general design coordination.
• Compliance Check work of others to assist E&I Department with issuing drawing packages.
• Make site visits, as required, for project data collection to aid in design and engineering calculations.
• Perform engineering/design support task, as required.

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in a design role required.
• Knowledge of CAD software and engineering design software is preferred.
• Proficient in use of MS Office Products.
• Experience with a consulting engineering firm preferred.
