This person will be key in bringing forward-thinking methodology that will keep MDLIVE on the forefront of new integration methods and best practices.ResponsibilitiesDevelop internal and external API interfaces using NextGen Mirth applicationExpand enterprise master patient index (EMPI) database functionalityContribute to the development of a version control strategy for all NextGen Mirth channelsContribute to the implementation of a disaster recovery of our Mirth instancesDevelop and build interfacesParticipate in support and troubleshooting of interfacesIdentify potential areas for improvement to promote efficiency and automationDevelopment monitoring and reporting features to make sure interfaces are working as expectedResponsible for the development, test and deployment of interfacesParticipate in client and internal calls regarding integration as neededQualifications5+ years\' job-related experience in the healthcare industry with specific emphasis on new client implementations and/or account management is requiredExpertise working with Mirth interface engine and understanding of the concepts for filtering and mapping HL7 messagesWorking knowledge of interface technology and coding standards such as XML, LOINC, SNOMED, CCD-A, X12Prior experience with implementing HL7 and FHIR integrationsAn understanding of Web Services, JSON and API\xe2\x80\x99s to transmit data objectsStrong understanding of data exchange principlesIf you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.About Evernorth Health ServicesEvernorth Health Services, a division of The Cigna Group, creates pharmacy, care and benefit solutions to improve health and increase vitality.
