Title: Senior Manager, Category Management xe2x80x93 Enterprise TechnologyJob Code: 18735Location: Melbourne, FL or Remote Opportunity with up to 10% travel:L3Harrisxe2x80x99 Corporate Headquarters located in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Sr. Manager, Category Management to join our Corporate Indirect Category Management Team. This highly visible, fast-paced, multi-dimensional role drives organizational value by providing strategic and day-to-day leadership across our Enterprise IT spend. Key responsibilities include working with executive management and functional stakeholders to lead category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. Candidates should bring broad leadership experience and advanced category and sourcing knowledge to lead a team to drive cost savings and operational efficiency in Enterprise TechnologyThis role will report to the Director of Category Management as part of the Corporate Indirect Category Management Team and our strategic supply chain organization focused on leveraging the companyxe2x80x99s scale and deploying best practices that achieve best possible quality, technology, cost and delivery for our customers.Essential Functions:

• Oversee creation, management, and execution of the category strategy for Enterprise Technology to achieve category goals, achieve business strategies and deliver sustainable category value
• Partner as a subject matter expert (SME) on a continuous basis with internal customers to understand evolving business objectives, expectations and specific requirements
• Set performance targets against Enterprise-wide strategic goals and monitor performance
• Provide input into market insights based on research and data, industry developments, supply/demand dynamics, emerging technologies, leading-edge practices
• Maintain detailed knowledge of, and extensive experience in, requirements for services and supplier capabilities in Enterprise Technology
• Lead regular communications with supply chain leadership and functional teams on category status, challenges, and opportunities
• Manage strong partnerships with key internal stakeholders to define requirements, identify critical service providers and influence demand
• Recommend all procurement levers, including supplier rationalization, negotiations, make vs. buy analyses, vendor managed inventories, inventory reduction programs, and should-costing
• Drive significant cost savings and cost avoidance by proactively identifying new opportunities, such as enterprise discount programs, long-term contracts, and commit to consume models
• Develop and lead multi-year sourcing strategies and advise Sourcing Specialist and Procurement
• Define negotiation strategies and lead negotiations with strategic and preferred suppliers to maximize benefits across L3Harris and its affiliates
• Develop contractual documentation (Master Service Agreements, Software as a Service, Enterprise Agreements, Statements of Work, etc.) in accordance with established policies and procedures while minimizing contractual risk
• Direct SRM process for portfolio of strategic suppliers and resolve complex problems relating to supplier quality and service, contract disputes, and other discrepancies
• Establish internal benchmarks, supplier ratings, and enterprise rate cards (NTE values) for all major lines of category spend
• Organize quarterly business reviews with key suppliers and coordinate with Segments to drive supplier accountability
• Assess supplier risks, develop the appropriate contingency plans, and drive inclusion into overall decision-making process
• Leverage advanced procurement analytics and tools (e.g., cost modeling, price regression analysis, scenario planning, eAuctions, etc.) and drive systems and analytics best practices across the organization

Qualifications: (refer to Career Framework)

• 5+ years of Enterprise Technology Category Management Experience
• 2+ years of broad management and team leadership skills
• Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience.
• Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) industry preferred with specific FAR/DFAR experience
• Self-managed/motivated xe2x80x93 ability to independently set priorities, meet commitments with a desire to continuously improve
• Communication skills with ability to influence leaders and drive decision making
• Management of directly reporting personnel and associated workload to ensures right person in right role for success
• Coordination across Categories and Segments
• Knowledge of CPSR and government audits

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont, Washington State and New York State is $101,000 - $187,000. For California, Seattle, Washington D.C., Maryland Greater Washington D.C. area and New York City, the salary range for this role is $115,500 - $214,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
