Job Description


This role is designed to work closely with the head of travel to support and lead the management of the Global Travel Program operations and service delivery; which include Transportation, Hotels (lodging), TMC, technology solutions and other categories as required. Facilitate supplier relationship management through the development of Key performance indicators, Service level agreements; establish a collaborate and solution-oriented environment with key partners and the business to optimize supplier performance and innovation. Conduct business reviews and advance the program with data-driven insights. Ensure operational effectiveness while improving the employee/traveler experience. Key Responsibilities:


Global, North America, EMEA, LATAM , APAC (40%)

  • Strategic management of Global and regional travel operations.
  • Sourcing Management of technology solutions global and regional.
  • Sourcing and management of TMC solutions Globally.
  • Experience in execution of new systems and solutions.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the architecture of Global Travel systems and solutions.
  • Collaborate and build partnership with global brands, regions and functions to identify key deliverables through strong knowledge of industry trends.
  • Work effectively with contracted third parties and technology solutions to provide supplemental support for business travel globally and all regions.
  • Partner with Global Travel and Meetings analyst to develop and distribute savings reports, financial insights, and trend reports Globally and regionally.
  • Identify bypass (bookings and payment processes) outside the ELC platform) and work with Brands, Regions, functions to ensure compliance to program requirements.

Global Supplier Execution (40%)
  • Develop the ELC framework and program architecture to leverage savings and drive volume to Preferred Suppliers. Collaborate with Indirect Procurement to provide cost savings/avoidance reporting to brand functions and divisions.
  • Drive process efficiencies to implement, enhance, and mature the Global Travel program.
  • Consolidate management and reporting of Corporate Travel and Meetings categories; air, rail, hotel, ground.
  • Sourcing and negotiating contracts with values of $200,000 or less.
  • Partner with Executive Director Global Travel and Meetings managing and training the BPO\xe2\x80\x99s in market.

Strategy and Development (20%)
  • Partner with Global Travel & Meetings Executive Director to develop short and long-term strategies for more efficient, cost effective use of resources and communications to leverage preferred supplier program.
  • Develop on demand training solutions to meet the needs of a global centralized system; partner with Global Communications on global communications.
  • Partner with Executive Director to increase compliance to ELC Climate, Well being and Communications to increase compliance to ELC Global travel platform.
  • Provide insights and knowledge in future trends.
  • Partner with Global Travel & Meetings Executive Director to develop Executive presentations as required.
  • Partner with workstream leads for all global program dependencies; HRC, ISOS, FOP,IT.

Qualifications
  • Minimum seven years of recent corporate travel management experience, showcasing expertise in operations, policy management, vendor relationships, and cost optimization required.
  • Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Art degree from an accredited college or university required; MBA and other relevant degree/certifications from an accredited college or university highly desirable. (PMP and CMM certifications a plus)
  • Demonstrated analytical, financial, problem solving, organization and excellent communications and presentation skills; ability to influence others and effectuate change management and best practices; strong project management skills and able to liaise with all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent interpersonal collaborative and influencing skills to effectively navigate a complex management and organization structure.
  • Expertise in the travel industry and proven experience in supporting travel operations \xe2\x80\x93 TMC, airlines, hotels, rental cars, chauffeured car, ride hailing rail and related suppliers.
  • Proven experience specializing in travel operation initiatives including opportunity diagnostic, travel policy, supplier management, communications, customer service and program management with an established track record of delivering business impact.
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $96,500 to $159,000. Exact salary depends on several factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement based on performance and company results as well as participation in the share incentive plan.
