Applications will be accepted up to 90 days after the posting date, or until the position is filled (whichever is first).Job Summary:The Senior Manager of Financial Reporting will be an integral team member of the Financial Reporting team and report to the Director of Financial Reporting. This individual will be heavily involved corporate accounting and financial reporting functions, including month-end close processes, standalone non-public financial reporting, external SEC reporting and financial statement generation, and managerial responsibilities. This role will involve constant communication with key stakeholders, including Insurance & Risk Management, Treasury Management, General Ledger Accounting, and other groups within the organization to ensure accurate accounting for complex transactions, timely payment of critical invoices, and accurate and complete financial statements and reports with clean audit opinions. The ideal candidate is an organized and detail-oriented self-starter who is focused on both personal leadership development and team mentorship, and who excels at identifying opportunities and proposing solutions, identifying process improvements and seeing them through to completion in a deadline-oriented team environment.Job Specifications:

Job Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and review stand-alone financial statements for key subsidiaries in compliance with US GAAP and local governmental requirements;
  • Assist in the preparation and review of external financial statements in compliance with US GAAP and SEC rules and regulations;
  • Prepare and review detailed tie-outs of financial statements and supporting documentation, as well as other internal and external presentations as needed;
  • Manage relationships with third party stakeholders, including Insurance & Risk Management, Treasury Management, governmental agencies and external service providers;
  • Record, review and post monthly journal entries;
  • Prepare and review monthly balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses;
  • Supervise Manager of Financial Reporting and Financial Reporting Analyst;
  • Manage team priorities in partnership with other Financial Reporting team members;
  • Prepare other ad-hoc requests for analyses and information, as needed.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting and CPA license required (or demonstrated experience in lieu of education).
  • At least five years of experience which includes public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience. Management experience preferred.
  • Strong US GAAP knowledge; strong technical accounting and SEC knowledge preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills, as well as exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively work both independently and in a team environment, including remote work with geographically dispersed team members.
  • Detail-oriented and proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft Financials, nVision, Workiva, Blackline, and/or Osprey a plus.
The expected Total Compensation for this role is $89,100 - $115,000 + annual bonus. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.Job Benefits
