The Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition will play a pivotal role within a high-performing Talent team responsible for class and professional operations hiring. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, this role will be aligned to core Cigna and Evernorth operations areas.As the frontline leader for a team of recruiters, the Senior Manager will drive, develop and implement talent acquisition best practices and strategies. This role has the opportunity to solve complex problems; and identify innovative solutions. The role works with a high level of autonomy, providing thought leadership with diversity and inclusion top-of mind.Responsibilities:

  • This position will lead a diverse team of recruiters, providing situational coaching; managing all aspects of performance management to ensure individual and team goals align with broader HR and Cigna strategies and objectives.
  • Collaborate with HR partners and hiring managers across the US to plan and execute appropriate recruitment strategies to attract, hire and retain top talent
  • Consult with client managers to establish relationships and create partnerships, gathering critical information to ensure ability to appropriately staff openings, and proactively plan for future talent needs, with a heavy focus on forecasting.
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts to understand geographic market and industry forces, translating qualitative and quantitative data into actionable candidate identification strategies that build slates of diverse potential candidates.
  • Constantly evaluate overall service delivery portfolio to ensure a robust sourcing strategy; a positive and ever-improving customer-centric candidate and stakeholder experience; an assessment and selection process aligned with the needs of the role, the business and our culture.
  • Provide advice and counsel to business about requirements, recruitment policies, and practices associated with hiring top talent.
  • Educate all leaders interviewing, the role of competencies in achieving success, and the use of competency\xe2\x80\x93based questions in interviewing and assessing candidates
  • The Senior Manager will carry a small REQ load in alignment with critical hires and leadership positions, owning the search process from hiring through offer close.
Candidate Qualifications
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or equivalent experience required
  • Minimum of 7+ years of experience in a complex Talent/Recruiting function
  • Strong preference for recruiting and or management experience in the high volume / class recruitment space.
  • Minimum of 2 years management experience directly leading diverse teams
  • Project management and planning experience
  • Experience developing recruitment strategies, processes and related policies, with time spent developing these for aggressive growth businesses preferred.
  • Experience in executing in a fast paced, deadline-oriented, high-demand environment with tight deliverables
  • Ability to work successfully in an environment with high visibility and the ability to manage complex and sensitive situations independently
  • Experience working with high-level executives and teams
  • Expert knowledge and experience working with excel to compile and analyze data required
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and database systems required
  • Knowledge of web-based candidate tracking system management and reporting preferred (Workday a strong plus)
