Dynetics Technical Solutions, Inc. (DTS), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leidos Dynetics, Inc., is seeking a talented Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. With offices across the United States engaging in the defense, space, cyber and commercial fields, Dynetics provides responsive, cost-effective engineering, scientific and IT solutions.

Primary Responsibilities

Ideal candidate must be capable of reading and interpreting mechanical/integration drawings and understand the working nature of MRP/ERP systems. Applicant must be able to create a bill of materials based on drawings and specs as well as create and maintain standardized work instructions based on drawing and specification reviews. This position will be required to provide floor support for integration, test, and assembly efforts and will be required to work closely with the design, quality, and manufacturing teams.

Basic Qualifications

Candidate will have a BS degree in engineering from an accredited university and have at least 7 years of manufacturing engineering experience.

In lieu of BS degree, a high school diploma/GED and 10 years of applicable experience will be acceptable.

Candidate must be proficient with Microsoft Office Products, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio.

The following skills/abilities are desired: Experience with MES systems, xperience with ERP/MRP systems and Process Improvement background.

Candidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville - North Alabama, AL area.

Candidate must be a US Citizen and possess (and be able to maintain) a Final Secret Clearance or meet the eligibility to obtain (and maintain) a Secret Clearance.

Other Qualifications

Preference shown to candidates who have experience and/or working knowledge of:

MES/MRP experience

Military and Aerospace assembly techniques

Pay Range: Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
