For more information, visit and .JOB DESCRIPTIONThe position requires an experienced sales professional with thorough knowledge of the foodservice industry including distributors, Acute Care (Hospitals) and Long Term Care (Skilled Nursing, Rehab Centers and Senior Living) end users and competitors and requires sales analytics, financial management and independent business management skills. Responsibility for managing brokers to specific sales growth goals requires strong selling skills and broker/people management experience. The incumbent works closely with the National Sales Manager and Director of Marketing to drive incremental profit and top line sales within their region and is responsible for recommending new product development and marketing ideas that generate incremental sales and profits for the business unit.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Executes a comprehensive Annual Business Plan targeting Strategic Accounts including GPO\'s, Groups and Key Accounts in the Acute Care/LTC Patient Feeding Channel.
  • Hires, trains and manages brokers within region. Develops quarterly sales objectives to drive growth to meet/exceed sales plan. Consistently works with broker sale representatives in marketplace, calling on existing or prospective customers to ensure broker representative is knowledgeable of industry nutrition standards, disease states (malnutrition, dysphagia) and the HHL product line. Conducts additional trainings where deficits are found.
  • Provides extensive hands-on training (in servicing) to Acute Care/Long Term Care facility employees in kitchen settings for proper use of products. Trains facility staff on IDDSI testing standards for beverages and foods. Follows all GMP\'s and HACCP guidelines.
  • Responsible for all communication of pricing, product changes, technical information including nutrition, storage, usage, recipes, complaints at distributor and Acute Care/Long Term Care facilities. Manages communication of National Account contract pricing at the local level.
  • Responsible for all financial aspects of the region including distributor marketing programs, regional healthcare account contracts, tradeshows, sample budgets, claims, travel expenses.
QUALIFICATIONS:Required:
  • 4+ years\' experience in the Foodservice industry including experience in healthcare food product sales
  • Broker and Distributor management experience
  • Strong analytical, decision making, influence, and communication negotiation skills
  • Ability to make effective sales presentations to Brokers/Distributors/Operators, create vision and strategy and make it come alive with actionable plans
  • Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, project management, and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal, influencing and analytical skills with a robust sense of curiosity
  • Solid computer skills and experience using sales database tracking programs.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly driven and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and competitive spirit
  • Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States.
