Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer with a solid understanding and experience with the platform, it\xe2\x80\x99s tooling, JavaScript, and TypeScript. You will work on a closely-knit Scrum team to solve complex backend problems, such as integrating external services into our services, adding and modifying database structures, and implementing new REST services with a focus on security, performance, and scalability. You will dig into business requirements and implement complex logic using modern technologies. We believe strongly in test-driven development, continuous integration, and continuous deployment, and we have a strong DevOps mindset. This position is open to a mid-level to principal professional depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

Working in an existing codebase and collaborate with a diverse team.

Building enterprise-scale backend REST APIs with frameworks such as , using an API-first paradigm.

Intimate interactions with crafting highly performant database queries using frameworks like Sequelize, , or other query builders/ORMs.

Building systems for the cloud and DevOps fundamentals.

Focus towards building security, performance, and scalability into services from the beginning.

Basic Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in computer science or related field.
• 5 years of experience developing in -

, TypeScript, and JavaScript * 2 years of experience working with technologies like
, , Jest, Mocha, AWS Lambda, AWS Fargate, Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL, TypeORM, Jenkins, or others. * 2 years\' experience with debugging code and troubleshooting technical issues in order to craft appropriate solutions.

• Must reside in the United States.
• Must have lived in the US for a total of 3 full years (out of the last 5.
• Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working in the healthcare industry.
• Federal Government contracting work experience.
• Hands-on understanding of virtualization and experience with Docker.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure services such as ECS, Lambda, Kinesis and RDS.
• Hands-on experience implementing relational database structures, including tables, indexes, views, etc.

Position requires Individual to reside and work within the continental United States due to contract requirements.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position. The pay range for this position is: $85,153.00 - $144,760.00
