As the Senior Strategic Account Manager for our Moen brand, you will lead and manage complex national homebuilder accounts within the Single Family/New Construction business. Your primary responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies, overseeing financial metrics, and enhancing customer relationships. You will collaborate with regional and divisional offices and work closely with field sales teams to implement initiatives and drive business growth.

The ideal candidate is someone who has a strong understanding and experience of the homebuilder sales route to market and has direct experience in the building and construction industry, particularly with large national accounts. You will also need to be able to travel approximately 75% or 3 weeks out of the month to customer locations.

This position is remote based with preference the individual be in the western United States and close to a large metropolitan airport. We are targeting a base salary of $120-$160K with bonus and other incentives such as company car, laptop, and cell phone.

What you will be doing:

  • Develop and implement sales plans, encompassing market analysis, account opportunities, short and long-term goals, strategic initiatives, and measurable outcomes including individual account plans, specification and upgrade recommendations, and sales strategies for Moen products (faucets, sinks, accessories).
  • Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across the business to retain existing business, secure national specifications, and improve margins.
  • Gain a deep understanding of each strategic account\'s business and its critical performance metrics, collaborating with the customer to acquire essential information and assess opportunities.
  • Analyze data and trends to develop insights that enhance customer retention, drive incremental revenue, and create a competitive advantage.
  • Create successful RFPs and negotiate financial terms to retain and secure future business for Moen.
  • Ensure timely and effective responses to customer needs by mobilizing the organization, facilitating cross-functional involvement, and including relevant departments to benefit the customer.
  • Monitor and maintain consistent communication with relevant parties.
  • Coordinate the allocation of organizational resources to maximize sales opportunities.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 7 years of proven sales or relevant experience.
  • Implicit understanding of Homebuilder sales route to market.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suites.
  • Ability to travel 75% or 3 weeks out of the month.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA
  • Large national account and sales experience in manufacturing and building products.
Additional Information

Hiring Pay Range: $120,000-160,000 base.

Actual pay will vary based on qualifications and other factors
