Leidos is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Architect to join NASA\xe2\x80\x99s Physical Access Control Services (PACS) team at NASA\xe2\x80\x99s Kennedy Space Center as a Regional Security Administrator. This role is responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, workstations, servers, and other physical security-related systems. Additional responsibilities include providing rapid support for field technicians performing endpoint installation and maintenance tasks, supporting badge enrollment and issuance workstations, and systems supporting 911 and dispatch operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintain and modify components supporting data, voice, and video communication activities
• Review construction planning documents and software release documentation from Agency and vendor sources to assist with implementation planning
• Maintain technical understanding in all areas of network and computer hardware and software interconnection and interfacing, such as routers, switchers, firewalls, hubs, bridges, gateways, etc.
• Administer Windows systems including installing operating system (including patches and feature updates), antivirus software and applications for physical security, joining systems to a domain, and updating security certificates
• Provide prompt support for badging offices and dispatch centers as issues arise with systems and applications
• Analyze and apply appropriate mitigations for IT Security vulnerabilities as identified through scanning by BigFix, Nessus, and other tools
• Ensure data integrity and storage meet Federal and law enforcement evidence standards
• Conduct audit of equipment and production systems and create appropriate reports
• Other duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High school diploma with 8+ years of experience, or a bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with 4-8 years of experience.
• Basic understanding of physical security architecture, engineering, and installation/management including access control and video surveillance.
• Knowledge in Operating Systems such as Windows and Linux.
• The candidate must have a basic understanding of network infrastructure design, routed data protocols.
• Basic understanding of network protocols and technologies such as DHCP, DNS, SSH, TCP, and UDP.

Pay Range: Pay Range $97,500.00 - $150,000.00 - $202,500.00
