Senior Systems Engineer

SimVentions, consistently voted one Virginia\'s Best Places to Work, is looking for system engineers to work on a new and emerging Navy tactical system that integrates with the full suite of combat sensors. SimVentions is looking for engineers to be part of a team to support the US Navy focused on developing and modernizing Electronic Warfare Sensors and Systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provide system engineering and design for Naval EW sensors and systems
• Responsible for applying engineering skills in the technical planning, systems integration, verification and validation, cost and risk and supportability and effectiveness analyses for complex solutions or products
• Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, and detailed trade studies
• Conducts requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into technical solutions and continuously validate those solutions through delivery
• Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
• Interact at the highest levels with client engineers and customers
• Coordinate and technically consult with project engineers

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 to 15 years of relevant work experience
• Strong understanding in system engineering principles
• Experience in requirements management and tracking
• Strong research skills
• Familiarity with Military Standards and Specifications

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• MBSE experience

Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required

Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Travel: up to 5%

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate\xe2\x80\x99s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
