Senior Tax Accountant (Mechanicsburg, PA)

Join us as we are in search of a motivated Senior Tax Accountant to support our small business clients. This fantastic role will offer hands-on experience with a focus in individual and corporate taxation and financial statement preparation and delivery. LOCATION: This role is located in Mechanicsburg, PA.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Your responsibilities will vary to help you grow your experience in both the tax and accounting components for our business, but will include the following:

• Partner with small business clients on their accounting and tax needs to support the client\xe2\x80\x99s financial management.
• Prepare accounting and financial statements as directed.
• Prepare and review tax filings (S-Corp, LLC, 1040) for the small business owners\xe2\x80\x99 corporate and individual needs.
• Facilitate client meetings for tax consultation; support clients with ongoing tax planning & projections.
• Develop long-standing relationships with clients through a high level of client service interactions.
• Prepare accounting and financial statements as directed and present to senior management for review.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree; in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• CPA and/or EA or sitting for exam is a big plus but not required.
• Minimum 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 of recent experience in tax accounting.
• Experience with LaCerte tax software highly desirable.
• Experience in corporate tax returns for S-Corps, LLCs and Partnerships; ability to complete business owners\xe2\x80\x99 personal returns is important too!
• Previous experience working with multiple clients at once; small business accounting experience is highly preferred and will be prioritized.
• Experience directly interacting with clients through a variety of communication channels. Previous experience presenting, explaining, and discussing financial reports with clients.
• Exemplary business communication skills
• Strong attention-to-detail with a focus on always delivering quality while meeting deadlines.
• Solid knowledge of all Microsoft applications with emphasis on word-processing, high-level Excel skills, Power Point and Outlook
• US Work Authorization is required.

COMPENSATION:

\xc2\xb7 An attractive salary + bonus based on experience and matched skills. The salary range for this role begins at $85,000 and will commensurate with level of experience and skills. Overall, you can have a total comp including bonus between $95-110k .
