Position Summary...

What you\'ll do...

As part of the Health and Wellness Optical Production Support Team you will play a pivotal role in reducing the operational cost and the stability of our production environments for our Vision Center Clinics in both Walmart Stores and SAMS Clubs. Between Walmart and SAMS, the total number of Vision Center Clinics is more than 300 Vision. There is no other company where you can have this much positive impact to drive real change. As part of the Optical Production Support Team your primary responsibility with be supporting the customer journey as they interact with Optometrists Doctors as they get their eyes checked. You will primarily work directly with Central Operation and Clinic associates focused on the following areas: Incident Management, Service Request Management, and Problem Management.

Our team works closely with our US stores and eCommerce business to better serve customers by empowering team members, stores, and merchants with technological innovation. From groceries and entertainment to sporting goods and crafts, Walmart U.S. offers an extensive selection that our customers value, whether they shop online at Walmart.com, through one of our mobile apps, or in-store. Focus areas include customers, stores and employees, in-store service, merchant tools, merchant data science, and search and personalization.

What you\'ll do:

Work incident tickets

Assist with day to day escalated production issues

Identify trends and gaps via Incident analysis trends and drive problem management efforts to stabilize systems.

Develop processes and tools to simplify support processes

Position will require pager on-call duties (weekdays & weekends)

What you\'ll bring:

Experience supporting large scale applications and system

Experience with troubleshooting and managing Wnidows Systems

Experience with troubleshooting peripheral hardware devices across a localized network

Database Experience: Informix, SQL Server, Cosmos

Familiar with Incident Management Tools - preferred ServiceNow

Familiar with Project Management Tools - JIRA and Confluence

At least 8 year in production support role

Experience with logging/monitoring tools: Splunk, Grafana, Log Analytics preferred

Experience leading teams and mentoring junior associates
