This position is located in Roy, UT and supports the Sentinel Program.This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.What You\xe2\x80\x99ll Get To DoThe successful applicant will:Develop Payload models to simulate and evaluate hardware performancePerform model validation of various Payloads through test and analysisParticipate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for missile system payloadsVerify Payload specifications and designs through modeling and simulation, test data processing, and performance analysisCreate technical reports and present analysis resultsSupport department initiatives; technology roadmap creation, cross-campus/sector involvement, and NCTA project leadershipSupport employee development; employee inclusion, engagement, mentoring and career development; employee training and identification and training of skills required to execute programsSupport staffing and workload forecast; Recruiting, sourcing, onboarding, performance management and contract maintenance for the contractors working in the business areaDevelop Basis of Estimates (BOEs) for the systems engineering functionsInterface with AF customerDevelop schedules to meet contractual requirementsUtilize earned value management techniques to measure and report on program performancePosition BenefitsAs a full-time employee of Northrop Grumman Space Systems, you are eligible for our robust benefits package including:Medical, Dental & Vision coverage401kEducational AssistanceLife InsuranceEmployee Assistance Programs & Work/Life SolutionsPaid Time OffHealth & Wellness ResourcesEmployee DiscountsThis positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.Job QualificationsYou\xe2\x80\x99ll Bring These QualificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline with 6 years related experience or Masters Degree in STEM and 4 years related experience.Must be a U.S. Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret security clearance with an in-scope investigation date within the last 6 years.Must be eligible to obtain and maintain Enhanced Security Clearances within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needsAt least 1 year experience leading a project and/or driving performance against scheduleExperience with ICBM Weapon SystemsExperience in modeling and simulation of ICBM weapon systemsThese Qualifications Would be Nice to Have5 years of experience with ICBM Weapon Systems5 years of experience in modeling and simulation of ICBM weapon systemsExperience with Threat modelingExperience with ICBM class countermeasures#GBSDLeadership#GBSDsystems Salary Range: $131,200 - $196,800
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\'s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
