Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in a fine dining environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests enjoy their meals and have an unforgettable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Present menus, take orders, and provide recommendations based on guests' preferences. Accurately enter orders into the Aloha POS system and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages. Handle cash transactions efficiently, ensuring accuracy in cash handling and register operations. Assist with food preparation and bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area. Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods, to answer guest inquiries effectively. Foster positive guest relations by addressing any concerns or special requests promptly. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.

Skills

Previous experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings is preferred. Proficiency in cash register operations and cash handling practices. Strong food service skills, including food preparation techniques and bussing experience. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. A background in culinary arts is advantageous but not required.

Pay: $16.07 - $17.70 per hour
