Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the food industry and demonstrate excellent guest relations skills. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that every guest feels welcomed and satisfied throughout their dining experience.

Duties

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems, including OpenTable. Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, adhering to health regulations. Handle cash transactions accurately using cash registers and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address any guest concerns or special requests. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Manage time effectively to balance multiple tables while providing attentive service.

Skills

Previous experience in the food industry is preferred. Proficient in using POS systems, with knowledge of OpenTable being a plus. Strong guest relations skills to foster a welcoming atmosphere. Ability to sanitize work areas consistently to maintain health standards. Sales skills to effectively promote menu items and enhance customer satisfaction. Familiarity with kitchen operations to facilitate communication with kitchen staff. Experience with cash handling and operating cash registers accurately. Excellent time management skills to efficiently serve multiple guests simultaneously.
