Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences by delivering outstanding customer service, assisting with food preparation, and ensuring that all guests feel welcomed and valued. This position requires strong communication skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner. Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using the POS system. Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction. Upsell additional items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction. Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met. Assist with food preparation as needed to ensure timely service during peak hours. Monitor guest needs throughout their dining experience, providing assistance as necessary. Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and ensure all tables are set up properly for incoming guests. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with the ability to help guests feel comfortable and valued. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately. Ability to upsell menu items effectively while maintaining a positive dining experience for guests. Familiarity with food preparation techniques is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest services. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
