Responsibilities

Greet and seat guests promptly with a warm and welcoming demeanor. Present menus and provide detailed information about food and beverage offerings. Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen staff using OpenTable or other systems. Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales. Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards. Assist with food preparation as needed, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operations during service hours.

Experience

Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with culinary practices and food preparation techniques is advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and team members. Experience with upselling techniques to enhance guest satisfaction is a plus. A background in hospitality or the food industry will be beneficial for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $2.13 - $5.50 per hour
