Responsibilities The Service Advisor - Express is responsible for ensuring an exemplary experience for the service customer by providing a prompt and friendly greeting, listening to their description of problems or services needed, preparing repair orders and being proactive, accurate and thorough in communication. The Service Advisors - Express serves as a liaison between customer and technician ensuring the customer\xe2\x80\x99s needs are understood by the technician and the recommended service and/or repairs are understood by the customer.
Prepare accurate Repair Orders showing time, cost and labor estimates, verifying warranty and service contracts and reviewing with clients.
Help to identify mechanical problems with fact-finding questions and performing and interactive visual inspection arranging road test if necessary.
Promote the sale of labor, parts and accessories by providing explanation of estimates and obtaining approval for work that is sold.
Follow the progress of service repairs and provide customers with timely updates.
Maintain appropriate levels of customer service and client retention by resolving customer complaints or concerns immediately and appropriately; assume ownership of the customer\'s experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer.
Qualifications Retail Experience Welcome: We invite those with retail experience (AutoZone, Pep Boys, O\'Reilly\'s, etc.) to bring their skills to the dealership environment.
Minimum 1 year of previous experience as a Service Advisor - Express preferred
Valid driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and acceptable driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Compensation
The estimated hourly pay range for this position is $18.00 to $22.00 plus bonuses and commission based off performance.
Employees in this position will primarily be paid bonuses and/or commissions based on performance but will also be paid hourly for non-sales work and for rest periods.
Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual compensation offer will consider a wide range of factors to include location, experience, and performance/productivity.
