WHAT WE ARE HUNGRY FOR

The Front Of House Manager is responsible for directing other crew members (in addition to their regular duties) to run the cafe efficiently by being able to divide up duties and enforce them. The ideal candidate will help to achieve our mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to our guests through a warm and welcoming bakery cafe experience that brings joy to everyone.

KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure all display areas (cake cooler, grab and go, display counters) are sufficiently stocked at all times Monitor cafe appearance and ensure that cleanliness and organization are always maintained Provide excellent customer service to all customers following Paris Baguette's high standard of excellence. Ensure that guest complaints are resolved appropriately Ensure that team members consistently follow opening and closing checklists Evaluate product needs and communicate to BOH if additional product is needed (baguettes, cookies, par-baked items) Audit opening and closings periodically to ensure that correct procedures are being followed Ensure that all online orders are handled expeditiously and are routed to the correct department(s) Delegate duties prior to each shift (i.e., filling, register, bar, cleaning) and verify that duties are being followed Check quality and appearance of all products and organize rotation of displays for all pastries and desserts Review inventory levels on a weekly basis and determine what items need to be ordered. Ensure that inventory is adequately stocked without interruption Publish FOH team member schedule at least 2 weeks in advance Ability to navigate and train on Toast POS Ability to work varying shifts, weekends, and holidays to support business needs Ensure that cash drawers are properly closed and accurate Adhere to food safety guidelines Must become certified manager food safety program within 30 days of employment Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE

Experience in food handlding Being a Brand Ambassador, with an excellent knowledge of and commitment to Paris Baguette's Mission, Vision, Brand Values and Culture. Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred and a minimum of 2-3 years' general management. High sense of integrity and ownership. Basic math skills Able to lift up to 40 lbs. Passion for people. Dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating & developing team members and franchisee relationships. Time management, ability to prioritize and follow direction. Adherence to food safety guidelines. Proficient in Point of Sale systems, currently Toast. Understand the importance of cash handling and accuracy of transactions. Flexible, adaptive, upbeat, open and visible work style, with a successful track record of supporting operations leaders across a large geographically decentralized portfolio. Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment.
