ECS is seeking a ServiceNow Test Engineer with prior ATF (Automated Test Framework) and federal government experience to work remotely.

ECS is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Test Engineer to join our team. As a ServiceNow Test Engineer, you will be responsible for conducting testing activities, improving the existing manual testing procedures, and leading the transition from a manual testing focus to one of automated testing. This position requires advanced quality assurance and software testing experience.

:

• Create, deliver, and maintain an overall test strategy, focused on Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Ensure quality of software releases through formulation of test cases, plans, scenarios, and execution of tests using testing tools
• Work closely with developers to groom user stories to ensure testing considerations are included; communicate and discuss test plans, results, data analysis, and unresolved problems
• Work closely with customers to understand requirements, think through functional test scenarios based on the persona, and advise the team on test cases related to the product
• Collect, analyze, and report test metrics
• Be an active participant with the development team in the analysis, design, and development process
• Maintain responsibility for the delivery of work products
• Oversee implementation of standardized processes and deliverables

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000

Required Skills:

• Must be a US citizen
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in a related field
• Must successfully complete a stringent Background Investigation and obtain the required Government Security (Active DHS Public Trust clearance is a plus)
• Must have prior ServiceNow, ATF and Federal experience in order to be considered.
• 7+ years related experience
• 5+ years of experience in authoring and debugging functional test scripts against a web-based UI and API using tools
• 2+ years of experience with ServiceNow\xe2\x80\x99s Automated Test Framework (ATF) to support the software development lifecycle
• Advanced knowledge and experience in formulating test plans and strategies, including documentation of techniques and communication to internal and external senior stakeholders
• Experience supporting teams with standard testing types:
• Unit tests (white, gray, black)
• Regression testing
• Scripting and automated test suites
• Experience working on a team using Agile Scrum/Kanban
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, effective interpersonal skills, strong organization skills, problem solving ability, attention to detail, and strong work ethic that is proactive and self-motivated

Desired Skills:

• Experience with integration and smoke testing
• Experience with deployment management
• Experience analyzing the ServiceNow platform for stability
