Shift Lead summary of the job:

As a Wingstop shift leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant during your shift. Your main duties and responsibilities will include:

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Leading and managing a team of Wingstop crew members, ensuring that all team members are properly trained, motivated, and working effectively to provide excellent customer service.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and safety in the restaurant, including ensuring that all food is prepared and served in accordance with Wingstop\xc3\xa2\xe2\x82\xac\xe2\x84\xa2s standards and all health and safety regulations.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Managing inventory levels and notifying the store manager of any deficits and ensuring all food items are properly stored and rotated to prevent waste and spoilage.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Handling customer complaints and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Communicating with the store manager for assistance if needed.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Managing and assisting with ensuring cash drawers are balanced and reconciled as well as overseeing the night closing cash procedures.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Performing opening and closing procedures, including preparing the restaurant for the start of the day and ensuring that all equipment is properly shut down and secured at the end of the shift or day.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Completing administrative tasks, including preparing shift reports and end-of-day reports.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting all staff and ensuring the restaurant is clean with light janitorial duties.

\xc3\x82\xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting in all positions in the restaurant including cooking and cashier.

To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the restaurant industry. You should have strong communication skills, be able to multitask and work well under pressure. Must be able to lead and motivate a team to achieve common goals. You should be proficient in all roles within the Wingstop restaurant to be able to assist other staff members. Additionally, you should be organized detail-oriented, and able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
