Shipping Clerk, 2nd Shift
JOB SUMMARY:
A Shipping Clerk uses a computer along with labels, manifests, and other paperwork to facilitate
the accurate loading and shipping of trailers via conversations with multiple parties.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Use computers, copiers, and printers to facilitate shipments
- Accurately interpret labels, manifests, and reports
- Display, encourage, and maintain a professional work environment through the timely
accountability, and excellence * Maintain a safe work environment, including housekeeping
Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of computer programs, systems, and Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to use basic math concepts and read a standard tape measure
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time, climb, and perform various duties
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 20lbs, occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb
