Vision insurancePOSITION SUMMARY:Unload trucks and put incoming material away. Supply Aseptic with their packaging materials. Help with cycle counts and month ending counts of ingredients and packaging. Help with UPS and FedEx outgoing packages and deliver incoming packages.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\xc2\xb7 Supply Aseptic department with their packaging materials.\xc2\xb7 Help with UPS and FedEx outgoing and incoming packages daily. Make sure that accounting gets all the paperwork for UPS and FedEx.\xc2\xb7 Help with monthly inventory and help accounting with any questions they may have about inventory counts.\xc2\xb7 Let Accounting and purchasing agent know of any damages or credit material.\xc2\xb7 Receiving responsibilities.\xc2\xb7 Inspect all inbound product.\xc2\xb7 Verify counts of all inbound product.\xc2\xb7 Use trailer locks at all times.\xc2\xb7 Inspect all inbound pallets and document quality of pallets and product on Inspection Report.\xc2\xb7 Ticket and verify counts and quality of all inbound product frozen, fresh & packaging materials.\xc2\xb7 General warehouse duties including keeping warehouse clean and orderly.\xc2\xb7 Help with rotation of inventory to insure that the oldest product is used first.\xc2\xb7 Practice all safety procedures.\xc2\xb7 Operate fork truck in safe and efficient manner.\xc2\xb7 Maintain daily log sheets as required, such as forklift inspection sheets.\xc2\xb7 Maintains regular and consistent attendance.\xc2\xb7 Adhere to safe work practices, follow GMP\xe2\x80\x99s, maintain sanitary conditions and ensure that product quality is maintained. Report to management any conditions or practices that may adversely affect food safety, food quality or personnel safety.\xc2\xb7 Responsible for Food Safety and Food Quality of MFI products.\xc2\xb7 Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications:EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:\xc2\xb7 High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent.\xc2\xb7 One to three months related experience and/or training experience preferred in a warehouse setting; or equivalent combination of education and experience\xc2\xb7 The successful completion of Powered Industrial Truck training program and pass the forklift certification.PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:\xc2\xb7 Ability to read a limited number of two-and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words in English and between series of numbers.\xc2\xb7 Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.\xc2\xb7 Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10\xe2\x80\x99s and 100\xe2\x80\x99s.\xc2\xb7 Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.\xc2\xb7 Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral form.\xc2\xb7 Ability to deal with problems involving one concrete variable in standardized situations.\xc2\xb7 Computer knowledge or the ability to learn the following computer programs Excel, Outlook and SAP\xc2\xb7 Ability to speak effectively on the phone or before groups of customers and/or employees of our organization\xc2\xb7 Computer knowledge or the ability to learn the following computer programs Excel, Outlook and SAP\xc2\xb7 Ability to speak effectively on the phone or before groups of customers and/or employees of our organization
