Position Description

Freyssinet, Inc. is currently looking to hire Skilled Demo & Carpentry Laborers for a project located in Weirton, West Virginia.

Responsibilities:

Build and set forms for concrete foundations and other concrete building elements;

Assist in demo and pouring of concrete;

Responsible for loading and unloading of materials and equipment;

Perform manual labor related tasks to support projects;

Assist in pouring of concrete; chipping of concrete, concrete finishing, and clean up of concrete debris;

Load and unload materials and equipment;

Comply with all safety procedures and practices; * Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Skills & Abilities:

• Be skilled in use of necessary hand and power tools;
• Comfortably work from heights;
• Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb, or crawl;
• Ability to exert heavy, physical effort;
• Listen, understand, and follow directions;
• Comply with all safety procedures and practices and immediately correct unsafe conditions or behavior within the scope of ability;
• Remain flexible on work assignments;
• Possess excellent communication skills and work with a variety of personalities.

Education & Experience:

• Vocational school training or apprenticeship preferred;
• Must have at least 1-2 years of prior experience in bridge concrete repair;
• Must have the ability to pass required safety certifications.

Reliable transportation, pre-hire drug screening, and U.S. work authorization required. Extensive out of town travel may be required for this position.
