High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required
5+ years of digital marketing experience with a focus on paid and organic social media strategy, management, and execution
Sound knowledge and experience with all relevant social media platforms is required. Including but not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube. (TikTok and Threads is a plus)
Experience with Sprout Social or similar social media publishing tool
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) experience is a must
Education beyond high school may count toward experience

This role is offered as a hybrid (some combination of onsite and remote) where you are required to be onsite at our Boston, MA based campus 3 days per week. Specific days and schedule will be determined between you and your manager.
This role is 40 hours per week and is overtime eligible.

Position Description
In collaboration with the Assistant Director, Digital Marketing and team, develop innovative paid social media marketing campaigns that differentiate Harvard Business School (HBS) Executive Education in the market and contribute to driving qualified program prospects, applications, and brand awareness
Closely work with external media agency on executing paid social media campaigns including planning, creative direction, implementation, performance analysis, testing, and optimization
Plan, execute, and manage daily organic social media publishing, channel strategy, and timely community messaging via Sprout Social management tool (social channels include but are not limited to: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube)
Maintain and curate an engaging organic social posting calendar featuring original HBS Executive Education content, thought leadership, blog posts, community stories and more
Collaborate cross-functionally to develop engaging paid and organic social media campaign content as determined by brand and program needs
Liaise with team members responsible for other marketing channels to identify campaign synergies and partner on creative strategies and optimization
Partner with and manage external creative agencies, writers, proofreaders, photographers, and other vendors as needed
Develop paid and organic social media performance analysis and reporting cadence that illustrates engagement, reach, and internal KPIs such as website visits and actions
Keep current with social media management standards, trends, policies, and best practices; sharing broadly with the team as appropriate
Contribute to development of quarterly, digital marketing team newsletter including design, content, and distribution
Support digital marketing team budget management and invoice processing
