New Teacher/Licensed Staff Orientation:
New teaching/new licensed staff orientation will be held on July 24 & 25, 2024
Experience:
District 49 credits each year of verified full-time/full-year K-12 teaching experience up to 20 years.
Work Schedule:
182 contracted work days

Salary:
The minimum starting pay is $59,059/year and the maximum salary is $86,492.44/year. Initial pay placement is dependent on level of formal education and years of relevant experience (the maximum credit granted is 20 years).

Qualifications and Expectations:
  • BA/BS from accredited college or university
  • Valid Colorado teaching license endorsed in area of assignment: Secondary Social Studies OR
    • a valid CO licensed endorsed in another area AND passing exam scores on the CO PLACE - Social Studies or PRAXIS II - exam #5081 OR
    • a valid CO license endorsed in another area - HR to review transcripts and make determination OR
    • a valid CO license endorsed in another area and a BA/BS or higher major in Social Studies - HR to review transcripts and make determination
