This vacancy is located at SCLHSA\'s River Parishes Behavioral Health Center located in Laplace, LA. The incumbent will provide advanced clinical services through individual, family and/or group counseling to a complex caseload of behavioral health clients. The incumbent will also prepare person centered plans for clients based on recommended levels of care, provide both written and verbal documentation and consultation to other agencies, and assist the clinic manager in designing and implementing programs which address community needs.
As part of a Career Progression Group, vacancies may be filled from this recruitment as a Social Worker 3 or 4 depending on the level of experience of the selected applicant (s). Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A master\'s degree in social work from an accredited school of social work followed by two years of professional level social services experience.
NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENT:
Positions require possession of Licensure as a Licensed Master\'s Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) by the Louisiana State Board of Social Work Examiners.
NOTE:
The master\'s degree in social work must be from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, 1701 Duke Street, Suite 200, Alexandria, VA 22314.
