Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Engineer to join our team in Hanover, MD. The position is part of a team that provides software development support for an organization that is tasked with dissemination of data to various customers within the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing software systems
• Working individually or as part of a team
• Reviewing and testing software components
• Resolving software problem reports
• Utilizing software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree and 14 years of experience or 18 years of total experience
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements
• Debug existing software and correct defects
• Provide recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Design and code new software or modify existing software to add new features
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems or operating environments
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components
• Write or review software and system documentation
• Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with some or all the below technologies:
• JavaScript (React, VUE and Angular)
• Git
• SQL
• Node js
• Linux (BASH)
• NiFi
• Docker
• Apache Web Server
• HTML/CSS
• Development of APIs (restful services)
• Atlassian Tool Suite (JIRA, Confluence)

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph based upon a SSBI

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.
• The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
