Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. IAS tailors solutions to customer cost, performance, and schedule requirements and designs to consistently exceed expectations \xe2\x80\x93 with an unrivaled record of on time and on (or under) budget deliveries. The Aircraft System Development (ASD) team is developing a clean sheet mission system for integration on new aircraft platform. We are looking for talented Software engineers that can support this development effort.
Must-haves:
Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related discipline and typically 6 or more years of relevant experience
Understanding of Computer Aided Engineering tools
Practical knowledge of engineering principles and practices
Experience working in multi-disciplinary teams
Proficient in data structures and algorithms with the C/C++ programming languages
Experience with Real-time Operating Systems and embedded systems
Experience with developing and compiling software for a Linux-based operating system
Experience with software version control systems (subversion, git, etc.)
Ability to obtain/maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance.
Preferred:
Experience developing complex/multi-component software systems
Experience presenting technical topics and status to internal teams
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including software data modeling
Familiarity with the Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) Standard \xe2\x80\xa2 Familiarity with FAA certification processes (ARP-4754 / DO-178 / DO-254 / etc.)
Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E and Joint Software Systems Safety Engineering Handbook
Proficient with Microsoft Visual Studio and cross-compilation for Linux-based operating systems
Experience with computer graphics programming (OpenGL / Vulkan)
Proficient in Python, C#, and other programming languages
Knowledge of software development lifecycles such as Agile/Scrum, Waterfall, and Spiral
Interest in avionics systems, tactical mission systems, drones, robotics, computer vision, control systems, and/or computer networking
