Description:Our company is seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Engineer with a strong background in C++ programming to join our team. The Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing software solutions for various embedded systems, such as microcontrollers and other low-level hardware devices. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of C++ programming language and experience with embedded systems.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain software for embedded systems
• Implement low-level software components for microcontrollers and other hardware devices
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in C++
• Participate in the design and architecture of software systems
• Test and debug software on embedded systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including hardware engineers, firmware engineers, and product managers
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies and trends in embedded software development

Basic Qualifications:
C++ 11 or greater
Embedded real-time C++ software development on embedded real-time operating system (RTOS)
Desired Skills:
Agile development methodologies.
Algorithm Implementation
Confluence - web-based corporate wiki
Design patterns
Document development - technical / software lifecycle
Full software life-cycle development
GitLab - source code versioning
Jira - issue tracking and Agile project management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
