Job Description

As a Software Engineering Senior Analyst at Cigna, you will be an integral part of our technology team, responsible for developing, and maintaining software solutions that drive efficiency and innovation in the healthcare industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the team members to develop, test, and deploy software applications using a variety of tools and technologies.
• Work within an Agile framework, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure project success and alignment with business goals.
• Utilize Jira to manage project tasks, track progress, and prioritize work items, ensuring on-time delivery of software solutions.
• Implement code in AWS Cloud - Databricks and Thoughtspot based on the guidance provided by the technical leads and architects.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and assist team members as needed in the development work.
• Implement best practices for code quality, automated testing, and continuous integration to ensure software reliability and scalability.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, code documentation, and user guides.

Skills Required:

• Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience developing code in Python,
• Hands on experience in using BI tools - such as ThoughtSpot, Tableau.
• Experience working in SQL, Oracle, XML, Windows, Linux and Unix.
• Experience in Cloud technologies is mandatory.
• Certification in Spark development is preferred but not mandatory.
• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
