Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Paraprofessional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism, as well as a passion for supporting students in their educational journey. Responsibilities - Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students - Support classroom teachers in delivering educational activities - Provide one-on-one assistance to students with special needs - Help students develop social skills and positive behaviors - Collaborate with teachers to create and adapt curriculum materials - Assist in monitoring and documenting student progress - Support students in various educational settings, including classrooms and specialized programs Qualifications - Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and autism is preferred - Knowledge of curriculum development and educational strategies - Ability to effectively educate and support students with diverse learning needs - Familiarity with Deaf education and American Sign Language is a plus - Previous experience in childcare, classroom assistance, or childhood development is beneficial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
