Position: Speech Language Specialist
Location: Special Services Department
Start Date: Immediate, pending Board of Education and State employment requirements and approvalsRequirements: Must possess a valid NJDOE Speech-Language Specialist certificate.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of a Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree with major emphasis in speech-language pathology, communication disorders or speech-language and hearing science
- Applicant must hold or be eligible for a Speech/Language Pathologist Professional License from the State of Delaware
- ASHA certification is preferred; however, CFY\xe2\x80\x99s may be considered if supervision is accessible.
- Must be able to stand and work continuously for a minimum of four hours per work day.
- Must be able to use arms and hands without restrictions to accommodate the physical, mobility, and ambulatory needs of students.
- Favorable criminal background check and child registry check required.
- 2 Step Tuberculin test.
