The Role:

The Senior Strategic Finance Analyst will provide analytical and financial modeling support across all areas of the business. This position requires a detail-oriented approach and the ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans. The team member must be self-motivated, reliable, trustworthy, and conscientious with a thorough understanding of financial procedures and analysis. They will develop data-driven investment theses, contract and market specific business cases, and evaluate criteria for growth and efficiency oriented strategic initiatives. The expectation is the team member will be able to conduct analysis, build models, and form relationships with business partners across various functions including Operations, Actuarial, Analytics, and Growth.

What You\'ll Do:

• Collaborate with leadership team and facilitate ad-hoc and cross-functional strategic and operational projects with Market Presidents, Operations and Analytics
• Support M&A and other inorganic growth diligence efforts and process management
• Work with Growth team to evaluate new deals and proposed deal structures
• Scale consolidated strategic and financial planning processes:
• Utilize various systems and sources to gather data for inputs/adjustments
• Compile and review detailed plan/forecast inputs and updates
• Maintain and improve data element mappings and modeling calculations
• Ensure accuracy and transparency of data at a detailed level
• Maintain and optimize the consolidated corporate model and unit economics for presentation to internal stakeholders, the Board and investors
• Support monthly close process and financial reporting
• Supports all capital raising activities

• 1-2 years of experience working in an investment banking, private equity, management consulting, or strategic finance environment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment, where you will work as part of a team, but are also responsible for independent work
• Highly analytical and inquisitive with high attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, capable of solving complex business problems using data-driven decision-making style
• Analyze, investigate, and resolve issues related to daily work by applying knowledge of policies, procedures and internal processes
• Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to learn department and job-specific software systems; experience with business intelligence platforms (i.e. Tableau, Looker, Sigma) a plus
• Establishes and maintains strong business relationships
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Bachelor\'s degree
