Sr. Auditor (Internal Auditor 3)The Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is the central administrative agency of Oregon state government and home to Oregon\xe2\x80\x99s Chief Operating Officer. The Office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), a central leadership component of DAS, initiates statewide solutions through team leadership. The Office of the COO oversees and provides administrative guidance to DAS and to state agencies; manages and coordinates projects involving multiple state agencies; and serves as a catalyst of innovation and improvement across all of state government. The Chief Operating Officer reports directly to the Governor and works closely with the Governor and Chief of Staff to implement the Governor\xe2\x80\x99s direction for the Executive Branch of state government.As the Sr. Auditor, you will serve to independently provide professional internal audit services and management consultation to agency executives, and to serve in a leadership role for the internal audit program. In cooperation with the Chief Audit Executive, you are leading and executing the most comprehensive internal audits that analyze a wide variety of program and policy functions, agency business systems, and mission-critical operations and exercises significant personal discretion in the work.For a full review of the position duties, details, and working conditions, please click .What We Are Looking ForMinimum Qualifications:Six years of experience performing professional level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission; ORA bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a business-related field such as business or public administration, finance, economics, computer science, accounting, or a field specific to the Agency\'s mission AND three years of experience performing professional level auditing, investigations, compliance, policy/program, or work closely related to the agency mission; ORAn equivalent combination of education and experience.Desired Attributes:Demonstrated ability to apply audit standards through practical applicationProgram/Project Management and business process redesign experience.Experience with, and an understanding of public-sector business systems and procedures.Demonstrated skilled experience in consulting, coaching and facilitation.Experience in financial management practices and principles.Investigative experience with the ability to objectively gather, analyze, and synthesize detailed information.Preference StatementPreference may be given to candidates with current credentials as a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Government Auditing Professional (CGAP), or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA.)Application Details and InstructionsVisit the to submit your application.
